Are my babies really 6 months old?!?!

Yeah, I know....I have been MIA in the blogging world! I bet you thought I had given up. But I didn't...I'm back!!! I'm hoping to make an effort to keep up with it and make at least one post per week. We'll see how that goes! So here's what has been going on at the Hastings' Household lately...

6 MONTHS
Reese and Ava are 6 months old!

 AVA
Weight: 14lbs 6oz (16th percentile)
Height: 27.25 (97th percentile) Tall baby!!
Size clothes: 3-6 months or 6 months
New Milestones: Ava can roll back to front and front to back. She grabs for everything and can move objects from hand to hand. Ava is on day 5 of eating solids and is kind of a bugger. She is starting out with rice cereal and likes to lock up her little mouth so Mom and Dad have to work to get the cereal in.
Milestones you think LO is close to: Ava can sit up with support and bend down to grab a toy and sit back up again. I think she is close to sitting unassisted.
Sleeping: Ava's routine has changed a bit due to adding solid foods into the mix, along with a low grade fever from teething, sleeping hasn't been the greatest this week. She likes to sleep on her side or her stomach now and we are going to separate her and her sister up at night because she rolls around too much.
Favorite activity/toy: Ava loves to play in her Baby Einstein Jumper/Activity Center. She particularly loves the little bird that plays music at the tug of a ring.
Amount eating: Ava eats about 7oz milk per feeding and about 1-2 tablespoons of rice cereal 2 times a day.
Newest picture: Ava wearing her Double Trouble romper Grandma Dawn bought her. She was pretty squirmy and grabbing for my camera!

REESE
Weight: 15lbs 6oz (46th percentile)
Height: 27 (97th percentile)
Size clothes: 3-6 or 6 months
New Milestones: Reese can roll front to back easily. She can also roll back to front but prefers to just chill out on her back. She squeals a lot and loves to hear herself talk loud. She is on her 5th day of eating solid foods and most often eats her rice cereal with little reluctance. Reese is grabbing anything in her reach and moving objects from hand to hand.
Milestones you think LO is close to: Reese can sit with a little support. She uses her strong back muscles to bend and pick up a toy, while sitting, and sitting back up again with a little support. I think she will be sitting unassisted very shortly.
Sleeping: Reese's routine has been altered a little bit due to adding solid foods into the mix, so she has been a little unpredictable about sleeping. This past week she has had a low grade fever from teething which doesn't help either.
Favorite activity/toy: Reese loves to play in her Baby Einstein Jumper/Activity Center. She also loves the little bird that plays music when pulled and will turn herself all the way around the jumper just to reach it.
Amount eating: Reese eats about 7oz of milk per feeding and 1-2 tablespoons of rice cereal.
Newest picture: Reese in her Double Trouble romper from Grandma Dawn.

6 months old and already best friends!
