32 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights
How Far Along: 32 weeks

Movement: Oh yes...all the time! Baby girl even thinks she needs to move around in the middle of the night...making it hard for Big Mama to sleep!

Merry Christmas!!

We are all ready for the coming holiday this week...presents are bought and wrapped and goodies are pretty much all done baking. We are heading back to Grand Forks on Wednesday night after work...now let's just hope the weather cooperates this year. I'm excited to do some baking with my favorite niece, Miss Willow, on Thursday, playing with her and her new toys on Christmas Eve, and just hanging out with the fam and the in-laws.

This time of year always reminds me of my favorite Christmas family traditions, like decorating the christmas tree all together as a family, my brother and I putting our favorite ornaments right next to each other on the tree, and eating crab legs on Christmas Eve. I also look forward to making my own family traditions with Brandon and my children. I have already started to buy an ornament every year that represents that year and my hopes are when we are older we can look back on the fond memories when we put up our tree every year. My BFF Brandi bought me an ornament the year Brandon and I were engaged, my mother-in-law bought us an ornament the year we were married, our ornament from last year is one of our cute little furbabies, and this year my husband surprised me with this little beauty:

and I LOVE it!

What are your favorite Christmas traditions?

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season! With love from the Hastings.

Behind on Blogging...Again!

So I have been slacking on my blog posts lately...sorry! I have been battling with the third trimester exhaustion and a nasty cold. Not to mention we have been christmas shopping and baby shopping like mad! I'm starting to feel a little anxiety as February is creeping upon us. I cannot believe that in about 2 months we will have another person in our house...that we are solely responsible for! Yikes! I'm very excited to see her, what she looks like, and finally hold her...but I'm not excited for the pain. They come hand in hand of course.

We have purchased a few furniture items for the baby room; a crib and glider. I thought I would give you all a little sneak peek at the nursery. I will, of course, post pictures after we have it fully decorated.

Brandon putting together the glider.

Brandon putting the crib together.

The crib all put together.

New glider.

We have a changing table/dresser on the way and still need some decor for the walls. Then all we will need is a baby!!
